Eni S.p.A. is an integrated energy company with about 30,000 employees in 66 countries world-wide. It conducts exploration, development and oil and natural gas extraction activities in 46 countries, trades in oil and natural gas, LNG and electric energy in 30 countries and markets fuels and lubricants in 32 countries. Banque Eni SA was incorporated in 2006 in Brussels (Belgium) with a full banking licence granted by the NBB (National Bank of Belgium). Banque Eni provides financial services to Eni and Eni companies.

  • cash management:
    • euro payments as direct participant in the European Payment System:
      • TARGET2, f​or urgent and high value payments;
      • EB​​A-Step2 for Sepa Credit Transfer (SCT);
    • euro collects as direct participant in the European Payment Systems and in particular, concerning the collecting through Sepa Direct Debit (SDD) for retail and B2B activities, in more than 30 Countries, as direct participant to EBA Step2.
  • payments and collection in more than 34 different currencies (not euros) through its own worldwide network of correspondent banks;
  • payment, settlement and clearing financial operations;
  • payment of salaries through a dedicated tool which ensures segregation and confidentiality of data contents;
  • cash pooling and cash concentration activities management;
  • treasury services: time deposit, FX spot, forward operations, swap;
  • asset management;
  • safe keeping and clearing of securities.

Banque Eni has a full integrated and automated system to comply with international anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations (AML-CFT) such as general transaction filtering and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.

The major sources of financing are current account balances and short-term deposits from Eni companies or third party companies linked to Eni, loans or deposits received from third parties banks.

Banque Eni's activity mainly covers European and US markets in the major Eni business currencies: USD, EUR, GBP and CHF.
